| The 20 hp, 1800 rpm Written-Pole® motor used in this application replaced an existing three-phase motor and static phase converter. In addition to reducing energy consumption by over 15%, the Written-Pole® motor allowed for more consistent operation of the well, reduced starting wear and tear on the drive system, and eliminated motor related disturbances on the single-phase distribution system. | ||
